Immenstaad, November 12, 2025 - ZIM Aircraft Seating Group, a global designer and manufacturer of Economy, Premium Economy, and Business Class seating solutions for commercial airlines, today announced the unification of its worldwide brand presence under a single name: ZIM Aircraft Seating Group.
Going forward, all of the group's locations – in Immenstaad and Markdorf (Germany) as well as Greensboro, North Carolina (United States) – will appear to customers, partners, suppliers, and applicants under the shared brand ZIM Aircraft Seating Group.
Background
Historically, the group's German and U.S. operations were communicated under different names and with a partly separate visual and verbal identity. While this reflected the organic growth of the group, it no longer matched the reality of how ZIM operates today: as an integrated global business serving airline customers worldwide a single technical, commercial, and quality standard.
The unification announced today aligns the external appearance with this reality by:
• consolidating the group's brand identity under ZIM Aircraft Seating Group across all regions,
• aligning the corporate website (zim.aero) so that all locations appear under the shared brand,
• consolidating the group's presence on social and professional networks under one official brand.
Customers, partners, and applicants are not required to take any action. Existing contracts, certifications, purchase orders, and points of contact remain valid and unchanged.
