Immenstaad, 28 October 2021 – ZIM Aircraft Seating GmbH has released its new corporate film. The film follows an aircraft seat from the first design idea through model making, certification and manufacturing to the cabin. It complements the brand identity the company introduced with its renaming in spring 2021.
A film about people and processes
The film largely dispenses with product animation and instead shows the work at the sites: design and development in Immenstaad, model making and prototype construction, manufacturing in Markdorf and the tests without which no seat makes it into a cabin. Employees from development, production and quality assurance have their say. The message behind it is simple: an aircraft seat is not a piece of furniture but a certified structure that many hands work on over months.
Why the film is coming now
The timing is no coincidence. For ZIM, 2021 is the year of realignment: a new company name, a new brand identity in royal blue, a new headquarters in Immenstaad and preparations for the start of series production of the ZP610 in early 2022. After two years in which the industry had little reason to present itself, the film makes visible that development and manufacturing on Lake Constance have continued without interruption.
Use in sales, at trade fairs and in recruiting
The film is available on the company's website and social media channels and is used at trade fairs and in customer meetings. A second target group is the labour market: in a region with strong competition for skilled aerospace professionals, the question of what exactly one works on at ZIM is a key argument in recruiting.
