Full-time (38 hrs.) with flexible work schedule.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer (m/f/d), you design and optimize the heart of the company, taking into account various aspects.

• Creation of designs for aircraft seats including initial dimensioning of components 
• Design of weight-optimized assemblies and components, taking into account manufacturing and assembly-related aspects
• Elaboration of cost-optimized design solutions
• Optimization of our seat designs based on FEM results
• Continuous adaptation of our assemblies to the special aeronautical requirements
• Direct exchange or coordination with development partners and suppliers
• Contact person for our production and assembly

You are communicative and have (initial) knowledge in the development and design of lightweight structures. Your accuracy and problem solving skills are further strengths? You are a reliable team player and bring the following with you:

• Successfully completed studies in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, state-certified technician or a comparable qualification
• At best, several years of relevant professional experience in product development; career changers from automotive and special mechanical engineering are also welcome
• Practical experience with CATIA V5 would be an advantage
• Result-oriented and proactive person with responsible and independent working style
• Enjoy working in an innovative as well as dynamic environment
• Very good written and spoken English skills complete your profile
